- Wash your feet and let them soak for a few minutes to soften the nails and make them easier to cut.
- Trim nails to their natural shape (be sure not to cut the corners too short, as this may injure the toe or encourage uneven growth).
- File to achieve a nice finish and soften nail tips that may be rough or snagged.
- Apply cream or moisturizer if desired.
